More often than not, the simplest forms of kindness lie in the little  things we do, such as a smile, a compliment, a prayer, or a word of encouragement. They may seem simple to us, but they can mean the world to someone else.      Rarely do we know what people are going through, unless they decide to share it. A harsh word can add to that burden, but a kind word can ease it. Because of this, choosing kindness matters - it can make life a little lighter for those around us.      Think of kindness as charity. And the most affordable charity we can give is through our words. Speaking gently, offering encouragement, or choosing silence instead of hurtful remarks doesn’t cost a dime, yet it brings priceless comfort.      So, choose kindness today. A NEW START, A NEW ENERGY!

It is indeed a fresh start, but for the finalists particularly, it is the beginning of the end. Their academic journey in the University of Ibadan Undergraduate Study is gradually coming to a close. However, it is not over until it is over. As it is well known that Rome was not built in a day, whatever effort one wants to put in this semester should begin now. It all starts with having the right mindset, the positivity of doing better than what was done last semester. Then, the implementation of the goals sets in. Attending lectures, completing necessary assignments, sticking to the reading pattern that works for one, seeking help from others when needed, among other factors, will now come into play.
