    How To Portray Agriculture As Sexy & Attractive When it comes to choosing Agriculture as a potential occupation, several Nigerian youths detest the idea. Infact, some youths  who are studying the course try to avoid the words “farming” and “Agriculture” when describing what they do. A large  percentage of students studying Agriculture or related field in Nigerian tertiary institutions will tell you agriculture wasn’t their choice . AGY CHEF   POTATO PANACKES Do you have some leftover potatoes? You can have them with more flavour and texture instead of reheating and making them all sticky. The following is the recipe for sweet potatoes pancakes for a quick breakfast. Ingredients 1/2 cup of milk 1 egg 2 tablespoons of butter 1/2 cup of flour 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder Salt to taste Nutmeg Cinnamon Directions 1. Mash the potatoes in a bowl. 2. Add the egg, milk and mix well. 3. Melt a tablespoon of butter and add to the mixture. Mix evenly. 4. In another bowl, add the flour, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix well. 5. Add the contents of the two bowls and whisk together to form a batter. Do not overmix. 6. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a frying pan. 7. NEWS   THE STATE OF  UI SECURITY: A COLLECTIVE EFFORT It is no news to any UI student that there have been recent robbery incidents within the school premises. These incidents come in the wake of an attempted kidnapping incident that happened to a student a couple of weeks ago in this very faculty; the Faculty of Agriculture. The disturbing rise in these incidents has left students in a state of high alert.  However, these incidents were bound to happen. Robbery and kidnapping have been happening in various parts of the nation for a long time. The difference is just that it is happening in our own “backyard” and we can feel the heat now.
