POETRY
Of Lemon and Lemonade
I was a pantser,
everything was well outlined;
after this then the other.
But fate played me a fool.
I bear the tale of destiny,
that of a wounded surgeon,
now tilling the land with gloved hands,
the plants now his beloved.
It's not a tale of regret,
but that of memories that brighten the heart.
The tides of life toss us around,
but in the end, fate has the upper hand.
